Registered accounts: TFSA vs RRSP
Both shelter your savings from tax. What separates them is whether the tax hits on the way in or on the way out.
You take $5,000 out of each. Which one is taxed as income that year?
Your data
What happens when you connect an account.
He can look, and that's all
The connection is read-only. Moving money sits outside what the app can do.
Yours to take back
Unlink an account whenever you like. What he read from it goes at the same time.
Paid for by you
The plan is a paid app, so your data stays out of anyone else's hands.
Common questions
Everything you want settled upfront.
Five straight answers on access, accounts and privacy.
Can Diego move or touch my money?
No. Access is strictly read-only through bank aggregators. Diego cannot initiate transfers, make payments, or alter your accounts.
Which banks and accounts will it support?
Major Canadian banks, credit unions, and wealth platforms like Wealthsimple. It covers chequing, savings, credit cards, TFSAs, and RRSPs.
Do you sell my data or show ads?
Never. Diego is a subscription product, so your transactions are never sold to data brokers or used to target ads.
Does Diego give financial advice?
No. Diego decodes bank statements, surfaces coverage, and runs the math on targets. The deciding stays with you.
What platforms will it run on?
iOS, Android, and web. Canada opens first, with the US following.
